Robocraft Wiki:Admin noticeboard

The Admin noticeboard is one way through which users can notify administrators of issues needing administrative attention. While users are welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), posting here can be an easier and quicker way of ensuring that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond to it promptly. Remember to sign (using four tildes: ~~~~) when posting an issue. Before posting an issue here, please consider the following: This page is for reporting wiki issues. Please post discussions on the talk page. Post only issues that require administrative action, i.e. blocking vandals, protecting pages, restoring deleted pages etc. Do not post deletion requests here. Deletion requests should be made by adding {{delete|reason for deletion request}} to the top of the target page, which will then automatically mark the page as a candidate for deletion. Do not post issues regarding content disputes. Try making a request for comment instead. Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users. For issues regarding the use of this wiki, please see our help center. In case of vandalism, posting about it here is low priority. Revert it first, anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene. Translated Mainpage isn't shown on "Language Policy"-Page

Change Settings, so Title of page can be hidden or renamed

I'm creating a translation of the page. My problem is, that I can't change or hide the title.(And, I think resulting from that, the pages don't take full available width) i.e. German translation of Mainpage dosn't look like orginal Mainpage

Isn't there an option you can place in the Servers php cofigur file?

$wgAllowDisplayTitle=false;

Or

$wgRestrictDisplayTitle =false;

Edit Common.css or Common.js to make pages full width

Hello, until now Mainpage ist the only site, which has full width. But I also want to have the german Main page full width. I tried out to change width of the specific div, but my Code wasn't executed. So maybe you can implement an option (Maybe a template) which allows me to set the content width to 100%. As far as I can see it is full width and looks as it should. The page-encompassing 'rc-content' table mentioned in the wiki guide may or may not help, as that contains some code for width:100% ICEThat (talk) 20:06, 1 October 2017 (UTC)

I found out, that on German page some CSS-Code has been added by the website, which causes the div with the id=bodyContent to have a specific width: width: calc(100% - 310px - 20px);

I allready tried to override the rule with CSS and Javascript, but I can't execute my code. So maybe you, as Admin, can create an Javascript Template, which allows me to override the option. I have talked to staff about this and it turns out the empty space you are seeing is where advertisements should appear. I will not be 'fixing' this problem caused by an adblocker as it is strictly against the rules. PRO users like myself don't encounter this issue. ICEThat (talk) 04:19, 5 October 2017 (UTC)

I allready disabled my addblocker for this site. But It seems, like there was an exception for the german main page only in my addblocker, that activated it at Robocraft Wiki/de and so caused the problem. I removed the exception and now it works. Search Results Discrepancies

I have recently done some searching on the wiki, and found out that some pages, albeit do not have the word or Same starting alphabet, will appear in the result predictions.

Discrepancies include: (This is NOT a exhaustive list.)

(A) Moderators appeared.

(B) Health Cubes, Glossary appeared.

(D) Holoflag

(E) Power

I am looking forward for the reply and any suggestions should remedies be emplaced as soon as possible.

Can you provide some more details and possibly some screenshots? I'm not able to duplicate the behavior you are describing. Is this on mobile or on desktop?
