Maps are arenas in Robocraft. There are currently two planets with maps in the game: Mars and GJ 1214b.

Maps

Mars

Mars is a rocky, dynamic landscape with many steep valleys and lots of crowded hills. Good for stealthy play.

  • Tihonium Canyon (A canyon with a bridge over a gap in the center)
  • Hellion Impact Crater (As the name says, its a depression in the center and a raised area toward the outer edges)
  • Tharsis Rift (A deep hole and weird rocks litter one side while the other contains mountains and hills)

GJ 1214b

GJ 1214b is a massive super-earth ice world in close orbit to Gliese 1214, 47 light years from Earth. "Gliese" has a arctic feel with a smoother topography.

  • Gliese Lake (An ice lake on one side and a glacier zone on the other)
  • Ophiuchus Valley (A map containing lots of ice and a cave)

Upcoming

As the devs commented in their #2 AMA on SubReddit, they are developing a new planet.[1] They are not sure what will it resemble of the real-life planets, but they already said, that there will be lava, making environmental hazards possible to happen in Robocraft. The new map will be released after the New Meta Update (NMU), depending on how the update will go.

Other

  • There are also objects on the map, see Map Structures.
  • See also: Base.
