Cosmetic cubes are cubes primarily used for aesthetics. All cosmetic cubes have no armour, no mass and cost 1 Cosmetic (or Normal) CPU. They can only be found in Salvage Crates.

Cosmetic Cubes have a dedicated CPU pool, which varies in size according to the status of your Robocraft account. Standard users have a Cosmetic CPU pool of 6 CPU, limited Premium users have a Cosmetic CPU of 12 CPU and Lifetime Premium users have a Cosmetic CPU pool of 24 CPU.

When the threshold of your Cosmetic CPU pool is exceeded, any Cosmetics added will contribute to your normal CPU pool instead. Depending on your account, a 2,000 CPU Bot with all 24 Cosmetic CPU used will be seen as either a 2,000 CPU Bot to other Lifetime users, or a 2,012 or 2,018 CPU Megabot to Standard and Limited Premium users.

Uses

Most cosmetic cubes are only used for aesthetics, but some have additional uses:

  • Vapor Trails and Holoflags have particles trailing behind them. This feature can allow you to see which direction you are moving while scoping, to measure drift, and to look great. Note that the trail will make your bot easy to track.
  • The Speedometer can be used to measure speed. Your current speed appears both on the block and on the HUD. It will continue to display on the HUD even when the block is destroyed.
  • The Altimeter can be used to measure altitude. Your current altitude appears both on the block and on the HUD. It will continue to display on the HUD even when the block is destroyed.
  • The Robot Name Banner displays the robot's name on the block.
  • The Headlamp generates a cone of light when toggled on.
