Chassis cubes are the basic building blocks of Robocraft, which comprise the basis on which you build your robot. These cubes can be aligned in various patterns to create different armor types.

Types of Cubes

There are five distinct types of chassis cube.

  • Health Cubes are the most basic building blocks for your robot. They come in a multitude of shapes and provide a Health Boost to your robot. There are three variants of the health cube, Light cubes are the lightest and have the least hp and health boost, mediums are jack-of-all trades and heavy cubes are the heaviest yet have the most hp and health boost.
  • Compact Cubes (Previously known as light cubes) have double the health of Health Cubes, however they are lighter, provide less of a Health Boost, and cost three times as much CPU, which means you should only build smaller bots purely out of these cubes.
  • Helium are cubes that provide lift. They have higher CPU than basic cubes.
  • Rods are long pole-like cubes that come in various shapes, and can range from three to five blocks in length, they also have no HP boost with the same HP/cpu as cubes.
  • Struts are much like rods and come in the same shapes, but they are three times as wide and have more health per CPU than Health Cubes, but no boost

There are also three types of cosmetic cubes. They are primarily used for decorating your bot, and differ from regular cubes in different ways.

  • Glass Cubes are a cosmetic version of cubes. They come in the same shapes and have the same health as Medium Cubes, but don't provide any Health Boost.
  • Carbon Letters are exactly identical to Health Cubes, but only come in the regular 'cube' shape. These cubes have a different letter printed on each face, able to spell the words 'CARBON,' 'BACON,' 'NOOB,' and more. These cubes cannot be forged, and can only be found in Salvage Crates.
  • Carbon Logo are exactly identical to Health Cubes, but only come in the regular 'cube' shape. These cubes have a Carbon 6 logo printed on each face. These cubes cannot be forged, and can only be found in Salvage Crates.

The Helium Cube is a special cube that costs 6 CPU. It can be used to help stabilise a robot, or to help it jump farther by floating, but, unlike Health cubes, do not provide a Health Boost.

Sell Price: 75 - 125 Robit.png
Premium Sell Price: 225 - 375 Robit.png

Rods are long, slender cubes. They come in various sizes, like the Short Rod (pictured), Long Rod, 2D Rod, and 3D Rod. Rods cost various amounts of CPU depending on their size but are much lighter than other chassis cubes. They do not provide Health Boost.

Struts

Sell Price: 563 - 938 Robit.png
Premium Sell Price: 1,688 - 2,813 Robit.png

Struts are much like Rods, but they are wider, heavier, and require three times the CPU in addition to having much more health. Like Rods, they do not provide a Health Boost.

Glass

Carbon Cubes are cosmetic cubes that function identically to Health Cubes. They differ in their appearance and the fact that they do not have multiple shapes -- only full cubes are available.
